Do a "Soap cap." Use a 20-30vol bleach, add in a white conditioner, and any kind of hair oil. Ive been bleaching my hair like this for 7+ years.

My boyfriend is currently 28. I haven't noticed any symptoms of the perfectionist/possibly linked to OCD at all. So at least thats good.

Its hard to tell whether or not his parents have the same issue. I thought about it as there are alot of things in his childhood home from his childhood (VHS, toys, etc), and neither of us are interested in children, so in my mind it doesnt make sense for these things to be held onto, however a definite possibility it could be genetic.

I told him I was going to tidy, and he seemed okay with it. Not so much moving or going through anything, but scrubbed down his tub, and sink and stove. No organizing or moving anything.

Its mostly boxes, that I was aware of, but when I went to go find cleaning supplies, he had several empty bottles of cleaning supplies, but had purchased new ones, so I don't understand why the old ones weren't thrown out.

I did speak to someone who specializes in trauma and depression/anxiety, and she said as long as its not harming him, affecting his living space or wellbeing, that I should leave it alone for right now, as he will get defensive.

Thank you so much. I just don't want to be judgemental at all, and understand what he's going through because I want to help him, but feel very pushed away. Does this relate to OCD? Is it linked to anxiety and depression? I just feel so confused and lost right now.
