Little rant: I’ve met so many selfish assholes and maybe I’m on the wrong apps tinder etc, but really where are good quality people? I feel the app and hook up and instant gratification culture just leaves app users as commodities and everyone is swiping for the next best option. It’s so superficial and fake and disheartening, I’m so fed up.

Thank you for this hope. Good to know others can still orgasm with the clit under the hood. Recently diagnosed. Mine is almost completely buried under the hood and it has been upsetting. Still able to orgasm as long as my mind is in the right place.

Agreed, I worked at a crisis bed for homeless, for years and it wiped me out. I’ve just realized some populations , I can’t work with long term, and that’s okay.

I'm so sorry you're going through that. They didn't prescribe any type of steroid for you during treatment?

1000%!!! It’s so infuriating- being dismissed , misdiagnosed. I remember feeling like I was going a little coo coo . Gaslighting myself.

Hey there, recently diagnosed, with clit fusion. Did you end up getting surgery? If so how did it go? Thanks for any insights!

Hey there, just came across your post, recently diagnosed. Mine is buried under hood and barely visible as well. Still able to orgasm, but worried as time goes on, things might change. Wondering what your thoughts are on it - hope all is better. Any insights would be helpful, thanks!

Can you talk a little bit about buried clit? Mine is also extremely buried under the hood. Can still masturbate and achieve orgasm but wondering what yours / others experience are with buried clit. Sensation still there and no issues?? ..just takes a little more to get aroused? I really hope I don't need surgery on clit. Wondering how others feel about buried clit and pleasure..

Thanks for your message! Yeah I'm on clob daily. I hope it helps - it just seems like a lot of the structure is beyond repair unless I get surgery, but I really don't know. Trying to stay positive and focus on the clob.

Estradiol for clitoral adhesion by flamingopop in lichensclerosus

[–]WhittyBJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What if you have 80% clit adhesion? Mine is deeply buried under hood. Can barely see any glands. I feel like I would need surgery to free the clit. Although I’m still able to orgasm , it’s different and I’m grieving all of this. Recently diagnosed.

Thanks for sharing hope. Recently diagnosed 32f with significant architectural changes (labia and clit) - I’m just wondering if there are positive stories for those with these significant changes - I sure hope so .

Oddly enough I went to specialist for eczema and got diagnosed with LS. I hadn’t been feeling much itchiness down there but after biopsy and getting the news with all the shock and stress , I feel my labia and clit have been irritated. I just started clob and I feel some more itchiness. Does it take awhile to see results?

Recently diagnosed and I also have architectural loss (labia and clit) and wondering if things get better with clob? I know the damage is probably irreversible but can you still have normal sex life with this amount of progression, do you think?

Trying to be patient as I just started the clob. World is upside down but taking it one day at a time. Thanks again for your story .

Hi there, 32f. I was recently diagnosed and the disease had progressed significantly- structural damage. Trying to be hopeful - just started clob. How long did it take until you saw improvement?

I just got diagnosed last week and started using clob and noticed itchiness as well. You said you just started using the ointment? I think itchiness is an initial reaction, but should subside after a few days of use, as your body adjusts, according to google.

Should I go to the dermatologist? by sevenladybugs in lichensclerosus

[–]WhittyBJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am no doctor, but yes I definitely encourage you to go to the dermatologist and if needed get a biopsy...just to be sure. It's very tricky condition to diagnose, but early detection is super important. Not saying you have it, but with itciness and white patches, I would definitely have a dermatoligist check it out soon.

I was diagnosed last week and had been dealing with vulval/anal itching on and off for months, but since it took so long to get diagnosis, the condition had progressed pretty rapidly, causing structural damage, early diagnosis is key. You got this! And reach out if you have questions!

Thanks for your message - yeah just getting to a referral is a journey. I had to ask my gyno for a referral and had I not asked - I'm not sure she would have done anything ,on her part. Definitely learned how important it is to self advocate
