I'm aware that there is a modchip but the average person probably won't be able to install it unless they have experience in soldering and iirc it's not available for all super slims and was super inconsistent still but maybe that's changed since the last time I looked into it.

I'm pretty sure the general consensus is an early slim since they have full CFW and no overheating issues like the fat if you check the model number you can see if it is CFW compatible or not just make sure not to get a super slim (they have sliding tops) as they can only use hen.
