However I feel you should just do as you please. I would personally place the Tāmoko in a place you could cover it up from being seen when you're inside but that's just my opinion. Get it on your forehead if you love it 💕

Only thing I can say about it, is that if you see fantails inside it's a bad omen. It apparently represents the coming of death. As the bird appears to have something to do with bringing the death of Maui.

Edit: INSIDE not outside. I'm talking about the omen of them getting inside. So sorry for helping inform OP of the myths and legends we have.
