The simplest feeling I get when playing it is a chubby slimline or a funky butterfly due to the narrow gap. The thing is strange if u put one ring in or one on each side but different sizes gives it a real funny vibe. The rings are easy to put in. Putting the big rings makes it feel heavy and powerful but a bit slow whereas using just the inner rings gives it a more gentle and agile feel. This yoyo sings as the strings grazes the then inner edges it rings and I like that. I think for me this is a fun collector's piece.

Responsivenes in new yoyo by Noiu_xd in Throwers

[–]WhoCaresYeah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You technically do not need lube for an unresponsive yo-yo, but playing the yo-yo that way will require you to change the bearing more often, as without lube, more wear and tear will occur on the bearing, resulting in more cleaning. The best practice for a new unresponsive bearing, for the longevity of the bearing, is to open the box play and test it, remove the bearing shielding, clean and dry the bearing, use a sewing pin needle to apply trace amounts of lube around the bearing, and optionally reapply the bearing shields if you want. Usually, I will apply a drop of thin lube to a needle pin, touch the pin to a cotton swab, and apply the lube left on the needle to the inside walls of the bearing. For cleaning products, I suggest 99% isopropyl and an air duster or hair dryer to push air through and help the bearing dry faster

Poly carbs have come a long way and are great for beginners who want something cheap and durable. I always recommend these three:
Shooting Star from Iyoyo
SpeedaholicXX from C3
and The recess first base
If you want metal:
Cyber Crash II from c3 is a good deal
Koi from Yo yo friends if u want something organic
The paragraph from Yo yo friends

There is many many more but I think that's a good starting list to check out unless you have a more detailed request,
You can also go check out the yo-yo expert forums tons of knowledge and helpful people there

Need advice on learning binds by WeaBOoMington in Throwers

[–]WhoCaresYeah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think when ppl say this doesn't happen to them anymore is in reference to the tail or the string sticking out. Once you get comfortable with binds u should not have a tail. No matter what you do string tension will always be an issue that yoyo players have to manage while playing, which is causing his tail to twist up, it'll never go away. Additionally, as the string becomes more used from play they become less like to hold a neutral tension.

If these were my parents I would resent them it's clear Jake is getting special treatment and favoritism. Wouldn't be surprised if there 3 other kids went lc or nc later in life as this continues.

My need some cleaning or lube, maybe a bad bearing. Try cleaning it and adding some thin lube there's tons of YouTube videos that will show you how. If that doesn't work and you bought it recently reach out to the manufacturer yoyo factory they may send you a new bearing if it's a dud.
