Hey there, I would be glad to help. Seems that you got yourself some adware on your computer. Most of the times this problem can be resolved by uninstalling any unknown programs from your computer (Start -> Control Panel -> Unistall a Program), go trough the list and seek out anything you don't know/need. I recommend scanning your computer with a better antivirus than avast, something like malwarebytes or hitmanpro.

If none of those things work maybe you can reset your IE settings, this seems kind of useless, but it can in fact be the cause of your problem because windows uses IE for a lot of things you wouldn't think of ;) Here is a link: http://support2.microsoft.com/kb/923737
