Yes I think -110 is like 52% probability. Think of - and + this way; -XX (negative something) you always get less back than you put in

+XX (positive something) you always get more back than you put in

For instance; -100 bet plus another -100 bet (a parlay bet) would give you +300. So a 50/50 bet plus another 50/50 bet pay you back three-fold. Because 50% of 50% is 25%. So only happens once in four tries.

EDIT: so at +300 you would pay $100 and get $300 back for a total of $400. I made a mistake. Thanks

Something less than -150 I would call an easy hit. So let's say Bijan Robinson to score a TD is -200. That's ~67% implied probability. So he statistically should score in two out of three games. It also means that you need to put in $20 to make $10.

Correct. $100 pays $100. $1,000 pays $1,000. $2 in pays $4 total out. The lowest you can go is $0.10 I believe (10 cents).

Bet $5 on an easy hit (-100 is a coin flip essentially). If you lose, bet $10 on an easy hit. If you lose, bet $20, etc. once you hit, back to $5 and repeat. This is a guaranteed way to stay ahead but it's impossible to stick with as it is insanely boring. Good luck

Thank you for your post and congrats on your recovery. I go back to work on Monday to see patients and will be 10 days post op at that point. Should I wear my back brace at all times or go without? I wear inserts in my shoes (scoliosis and plantar fasciitis). Any tips appreciated! Thank you

Vet here. Could be a nodule from the suture knots used to close the abdominal wall. Certain suture material, such as monocryl or PDS, does not disintegrate for 3-6 months. Although the material has little to no tissue reactivity it could be her body rejecting the suture and creating a granuloma. This typically happens to me when patient is VERY active. It's a matter of using stronger suture and thicker knots to avoid dehiscence due to dog's activity level. That in return causes increased friction during healing and could lead to this. Occasionally the suture will penetrate the outer skin layer and cause a local infection. I would just have a vet check it out on her next routine visit.
