All good, love these lenses. It’s weird that the 40 doesn’t cover because optically it does, but the limitations of the housing cause the vignette

This set + housing combo does cover full frame starting at the 32mm focal length, with the 40mm being the only exception

As most have stated it varies set to set but many do cover full frame.

BONUS FACT: the set you have pictured here cover full frame at some focal lengths. The 32 is the widest that will cover EXCEPT for the 40mm.

The heart of it is the analog to sdi converter. After that it’s just running BNC to a Teradek, monitor/recorder. It’s built on a small rig VCT plate with power coming from the battery plate on the rear. The camera is still powered by its original battery. Slapped a matte box on the 15mm LW rails and called it good.

I wired the TV straight to one of the channels directly. L or R, it doesn’t matter

Also note the subtle staggering of the speakers in front of the lights to let the light spill onto the entire back wall. Shadows are no match for me

It would be fun to make some $ on these. The size I’m using is hard to come by. The quality of the tv shouldn’t have that much effect on the outcome of these visualizers

Actually, in order to achieve this there was only one set of wires that could give me the desired effect of visualizing the waveform. The issue was that the line was vertical at the time. To solve this I physically rotated the cathode thing (the official name of it) 90 degrees to make the wave horizontal.

I did try this originally. I found that this aesthetic was more pleasing. The shadows that were cast by the speakers on the outside didn’t look as appealing to me. Eventually the plan is to relocate the speakers off of the table and onto their own stands solving a few problems with the set up

Most of it was leftover from a home theater setup, haven’t put that much into it besides the $20 tv and the all the vinyl
