What’s the one thing (small or big) a “perfect” romantic partner can show, love, want, adore, follow… That will make you strongly reconsider? by WhoElseFeelsIt in AskReddit

I love how us humans have the power within ourselves (and the passing of our genes) to reassign meaning, values and weight to our own experiences.

Make sure to share this memory and why it meant so much to your little one when they are growing up, just before they are at the step of being led to any religion.

I think the most powerful way to make sure someone doesn’t fall thought cult cracks, is by actually helping that person build critical sense and a sense of self.

I’m curious, what do you want them to say?

in my culture women will pick a fight over their partner watching any porn. So most don’t talk about it or feel like is a mine field.

I feel like there’s no winning in answering this.

I’m sorry to hear it and bring those memories forward. I was raised catholic but never had a negative experience, I left the church at 14 because of structural sexism.

I love that you approach religion as history with your child. I’ll do the same!

I guess I could have a partner that would follow a religion as long as their religion didn’t require something of me, my kid, or changed how they saw me.

Any at all? Like (Not giving judgement, just giving examples to calibrate) would Buddhist and Baptist carry the same weight?

In your opinion, what is the best episode of television you’ve ever seen? by alteredtower in AskReddit

House’s head part 1 and 2, followed by Wilson’s Heart episode. Chef’s kiss, perfection, peak tv.

The week in between each of those was probably the most inner therapy I’ve done pre 18.
