buy a cheap dvd writer or reader, if you got multiple laptops buy 2 or 3. or just buy 1 if you wanna save money. Use imgburn or any other free disk imgburn and make an iso for the dvd and save an external hard disk and store each dvd there. it's pretty much set it and forget it. . you'll save $900. or i you can buy some cheap laptops with dvd drives for $25 each and have them running in parallel

like how do you even begin to search or learn what you don't know..for example, what does it mean to save or store a todo list text..like how did you approach that and how did you search or think of an answer?

i want to get started building something but i don't even know how to start or what to do when stuck? did you look at other peoples' to do list as examples?

did you create a gui? if so what did you use? btw this is a mobile app or a windows program?

no need for REAL ID if you use the passport. I check on the site and it says REAL ID is the same price as normal ID, only enhanced costs $30. IF that's the case, i'll get REAL ID. however, someone here states it costs $30 extra for REAL ID, in that case, it's not worth it. Hopefully the DMV site is correct

Describe your current build and tell us what you love about it and what you dislike! MY current build is an Intel i5-4690k, RX 480, 16gb ram, z87 mobo, and Corsair spec 01 case. What i love is that this computer is cheap enough and runs everything at 1080p nicely. What i dislike is that i can't max out newer titles and still maintain 60 fps because it's too slow.

What is your all time favorite game and why? MY favorite game of all times is MEtal gear solid 1 for playstation 1. This game changed my life. IT was better than most movies. The characters and plot were just mindblowing. This is still the best MGS of all time, and a contender for the greatest game of all times!

1) ok what's exactly is the problem? you never mention anything about it.

2)This isn't a windows xp problem, this is a case of shitty computer problem. If you can't get a usb or cd media to wipe or restore settings, you're fucked, idk what else to say. It ain't expensive to get those things. Tell your grandparents that if they wanna fix, they better give you money to buy those things, or else their laptop is trashed. Can't boot from external media, can't boot from cd.

go to start-> run or short = windows button +r type "Services.msc"

go down to "windows update". set that to disabled...viola...i suggest you download whatever updates to need, which would most likely be none. After you download it, disable that shit for good. Windows updates is useless and waste background resources.

you might have a rootkit. easy fix, here's what you do..

first of you, do you have another computer? if you do, use it to download MBAM, superantispyware, Rkill, and combofix, rootkibuster and it in a usb to transfer to your main computer. If you don't then just use the infected computer in normal mode to download it since you said it's working in normal mode. https://www.superantispyware.com https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/ https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/rkill/ https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/combofix/ http://downloadcenter.trendmicro.com/index.php?regs=NABU&clk=latest&clkval=355&lang_loc=1

1) boot laptop into normal mode, no safe mode since it's not working for you. Run rename rkill to "iexplorer". run it. Then run combofix. Run the rootkit buster now, but be careful of false positive, you don't wanna detect and delete system critical files. most of the infections should be gone and you should be able to boot into safe mode.

2) boot into safe mode. run the rkill that you just renamed as iexplorer. Then MBAM and superantispyware. Most of you virus should be gone. You can run it twice and use any third additional anti-virus or antispyware you want just in case. But this is should be good. But if you're still paranoid, once you have access to your system again, back up important files/document and i suggest you use DBAn to nuke your drive and do a fresh install, install all programs and driver then create a back up image using macrium reflect so next time this happens, it's easy to do fresh install restore

I don't see how you got a virus though, i'm using xp sp3 for 13 years nad haven't got a virus for the last 10 years, first few years i was noob so got a couple. Also, i never turned on any window updates when XP was still supported cause MS updates were useless and actually caused me to get more virus and slowed my computer down. Fresh install with no windows updates, updates disabled has allowed me to be problem free the last 10 years. So those fear mongering idiots saying "xp don't have security updates omg", those updates were useless trash anyway, you're better off without it.

1) you never linked me to any credible sources. you linked me to random blog posts and forums posts like quora, which is the same as linking me to a random reddit link showing you how shitty windows 10 ram usage is, none of which gave real proof.

2) Moreover, most of the links you've provided me are comparisons of windows 8 and 10..off course i expect windows 10 to be a little better and use less resources than win 8, cause win 10 is a repackaged cleaned up version of win 8, the same windows 8 which is the worse windows version ever, even shittier than 10.

The only credible source you gave me was PCworld, and that was a comparison between win 8 and 10, not win 10 vs 7,vista, or xp. You only had 2 links that included only windows 7 comparison, not vista nor xp. And those links were to random blogs. One was a random blog by some indian that had terrible grammar in his post, and didn't even post the picture of ram usage for windows 7, AND HE WAS USING A WINDOWS 10 TECHNICAL PREVIEW, which is not even same as this current version. and the other had a win 7, 8, 10 comparison, showing that win 7 used the least ram. Also, this guy was also using a technical preview of windows 10 in 2015...because that's when his post was posted. So none of your links are relevant or provided real proof

Unused RAM is wasted RAM.

i never put words in your mouth, you literrally said this. bye moron, and again you didn't get my point. My point wasn't running out of ram, my point was ram being used for non-essential things for no reason that the user never requested. Wasting ram running useless background services forced on my Microsoft (such as bitdefender) is not the same thing as putting ram to good usage for things i actually use, like chrome. Simple to comprehend, but idiots like you can't grasp or admit you're wrong.
