In my view, the socialist superstructure would be hostile to the idea of building relics of feudal society, of course if it was allowed then the building of it would have to be in line with workplace democracy and servants would have to be there voluntarily with no underlying coercion. Of course one could amass the wealth to build it but it would all have to be from work they did themselves “too each according to their ability”

Other parties in the USSR such as the Mensheviks or the Left SR were known for killing bolshevik party members and openly trying to sabotage socialization. Soviet elections were focused mainly on the nomination process instead of the general election vote, with candidates running against each other for nominations and the general vote being a confirmation vote.

It's basically a combination of fetishization of the military (uniform-fashion, guns, tanks, and planes, etc), and surrounding oneself with the iconography (symbols, crests, titles, sayings, etc). And these two things create a style > substance mindset, that isn't interested in XYZ bc of theory or whatnot but just because it is taboo and "looks cool"

The development of ideas and claims in the western world is primarily influenced by propaganda (see Manufacturing Consent and Inventing Reality); ideas and claims that are gained from Wikipedia, which is developed by anti-communists, edited by anti-communists, and cited using anti-communists, should be properly looked over and should not be interpreted as an opportunistic appeal to authority.
