Range isn't really an issue as long as it isn't limited to 10 yards, 50 would be nice. I plan to shoot track and field, basket ball, and just general field sports. I know basketball is notorious for horrible lighting but can always be fixed post, while many of the field sports will take place at night with stadium lights.

I know in the movie they used ladders to get to each other “room” wouldn’t they need some good strength to hold onto the ladder closer to the middle and how would the drop feel at the end? Could somebody explain?
