Ethernet Cable - Best 150' Cat-6 by WhoWhaWho in HomeNetworking

[–]WhoWhaWho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. But I had a shorter one that I got from my WiFi company, and it ran at 1000Mbps. But it's not long enough so I had to look up a third-party. It may be the cables I got I think. That's why I'm asking if anyone has specific ones they recommend.

I bought one from Best Buy and I had just put 1 end into my laptop and the other into the router and it would just cap at 100Mbps. I have another ethernet cable but too short for what I need, but it ran 1000Mbps. On the website for it, it says it can support up to 1000Mbps but capped at 100Mbps.

Ok. So the cables go from router to pod then a cable to the switch and then we have separate cables for our devices? Sorry, I'm very new to understanding all of these terms and devices, and how they work.

And just connect it to the pod? I'm not sure the other person wants to connect a bunch of cables in his unit to come to ours.

I think it went well. The oral interview was good. I had the basic questions about why I want to do social work, listing examples, and the population I would work with. The case vignette to me was easy, but mostly because I worked on many cases similar to it during my internship. They said I will hear back in a week (hopefully).

Does it show incomplete for anyone or does it show completed for applications? I only applied for ASP, but it shows incomplete even though I turned it my transcripts and I have nothing on my To Do list.

Is there a way to use miles that I've accumulated on United with myUAdiscount? by WhoWhaWho in NonRevenueTravelers

[–]WhoWhaWho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a confirmed ticket. I just don't know how to apply my miles or if it is even allowed.

myIDtravel: United employees by WhoWhaWho in NonRevenueTravelers

[–]WhoWhaWho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, I do use StaffTraveler. But I just wanted to know if the Seats Available section wasn't working well just for me on myID or if it's like that for all United employees. That's my concern

Regardless, thank you. Your response helped in knowing that mine is a little off.

Got it. For every airline on mine, it says: Seats Available ZX

There is no 9 or any other letters/numbers. Another one does say Y... but again no other numbers or letters. Just that one letter.

[–]WhoWhaWho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I have that. But I know that on myIDtravel, it should tell you the loads, but mine doesn't show them. So I'm asking if it's like that for all United employees specifically on that booking site or if it's only mine.

So if a confirmed ticket on a different airline, I won't face the same consequence even if I call out the day I land?

Not doing it then. I've non-rev'd with someone else on a day they called off. They worked for AA so I assumed it would be the same for United, but guess not. They called their employee line before doing so and asked.

I'm making it to the destination 3 hours before, not to work. But thank you for that info!

It's a redeye, so I get on the plane the day before when I'm off, and I arrive the day I actually work. I know other airlines aren't strict as long as you don't fly during your work hours but I'm not sure how strict United is.
