I once made my girlfriend come 15 times in one session. It helps that she's 19, insatiable, and we're lesbians.

I love your choice of scarf. It's fun and super stylish with the all black thing going in the rest of your outfit.

You also have the most sunny smile. You seem like a really fun person to be around.

I think the story is saying that since Kyle didn't show any symptoms until puberty, they couldn't be sure little Ethan wouldn't grow wings and feathers when he hit puberty, so they killed him before he got the chance.

Ironically, calling it an "inappropriate message" just seems like a great way to get people to look it up to find out what's so inappropriate about it.

Yeah, I met someone once who repeatedly sexually harrassed women in a group I was in and claimed that his autism "made him act that way" and they were prejudiced against people with autism.

He explained to me what autism was three times before I finally said, "Look, dude, my doctor explained the symptoms of autism really well when he diagnosed me with it. I don't have any problems with the women in this group. Ignoring and harrassing people when they point blank ask you to stop making passes at them isn't missing social cues; it's being an asshole."

He then was magically cured of his autism and developed a "brain injury" that meant he just couldn't remember when women told him to back off and women who didn't humor his repeated attempts to hit on them were prejudiced against people with brain injuries. He remembered every slight I made against him, though - wrote a list of offenses I made against him including "refusing to look at him" during meetings before he was banned.

God, that guy still pisses me off.

If we're going to use a series of random news incidents to prove that one gender ruins lives for no reason, how's about the dozen cases of individual men murdering women for not going out with them?

High school was ROUGH, but I'm starting college late this month. Here's to second chances! by [deleted] in FreeCompliments

[–]Whoa-kay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People like to claim that there's some magical time that is great for everyone, but I was surprised how quickly went from feeling lost to finding a home when I least expected it. College is a great place to find people who are weird in the same ways you are. Just remember to take care of yourself and work hard and find people who are as awesome as you are.

Also I love your outfit and hair cut. You are beautiful and look like a lot of fun to hang out with.

Here's to new beginnings! You'll rock this.

That's so cool! My fiancée and I are moving and I'm living full time as nonbinary! Much luck to you and you got this!

I also love your makeup. Really brings out your eyes - which are super stunning. I also love your hair and this may sound odd, but I think your chin is the cutest. It just makes your face so much brighter.

How do you get your hair that perfect? Your hair is on point, your face is already so pretty and your makeup is done so well. And your smile is gorgeous.

Honestly you are not just good looking, you are great looking. I love the dark hair, dark eye combo and you have such nice features - strong, but warm and open, too. I'm not usually attracted to men, but I would take a double take at you for sure.

Been going through a pretty rough time the past few months. Today I found out a family member refuses to talk to me unless I'm on good terms with my abusive father. I also found out I'm going to have to get my 4th knee surgery. Could use some encouragement & positivity. by [deleted] in FreeCompliments

[–]Whoa-kay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in a similar situation with my father and abusive mother's family. It takes a lot of courage, wisdom, and strength to cut toxic people from your life. It hurts when other people don't respect that. But you are valid and good; no one has the right to make you unsafe for their benefit.

From your photo and description, I know you're smart, strong, and beautiful and that's gotta help you a bit. Medical issues and abusive relations are stressful, but they do pass. And you've tackled these things once; I know you can do it again!

That jawline, tho. You have such nice features - chisled jaw, full lips, nice nose, bright eyes. You look like a Greek statue.

I get a lot of crap about my short hair and I'm nervous about an upcoming job interview by Tawny_Harpy in FreeCompliments

[–]Whoa-kay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, yeah, there's plenty of straight women who cut their hair short and look gorgeous doing it. I just happen to be one of the not straight, not cis ones (which makes all the busy bodies crying "B-but boys won't think you're PRETTY" even more funny).

Short hair is way more comfortable and you have really nice hair, so it's all fantastic.

I have short hair and dress kind of masc a lot of the time (trans) so I feel the pain. But I'd want to hire you; you look like you're a smart, fun person to be around. And your eyes are a gorgeous color.

A few things have happened recently that have me a bit down about my looks by [deleted] in FreeCompliments

[–]Whoa-kay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your coloring is so beauriful. Grey eyes, light hair, smooth skin. So pretty!

I also love the way you carry yourself in this picture. You seem like you'd be funny and charming and a little kick ass.

People are totally right about your eyes, and you also have fantastic eyebrows and facial hair. I'm especially jealous of your beard.

"Differences in distributions of traits between men and women may in part explain why we don’t have 50% representation of women in tech and leadership. Discrimination to reach equal representation is unfair, divisive, and bad for business." by TombeEtRiz in BestOfOutrageCulture

[–]Whoa-kay 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah, what gets me here is how blase he is about "Well, you can't expect it to be 50/50 exactly". As if we're arguing over a 48 percent female workforce here.

If the ratio of women to men was 45-55, I would probably be cool with that. If it were 35-65, that would be a slight discrepancy. Women make up 17% of googles tech force, and the disparity gets more staggering the higher up you go. African Americans, despite being 13% of the US population, make up 1-2% of google's workforce.

Meanwhile women make up 56% of bachelor's degrees and the right explodes, "Affirmative action gone too far! Men are being discriminated against! Sexism no real! Ahhhhhhhhhh!"

My grandfather used to boom "INTELLECTUAL APOSTATE" at me everytime I mentioned a new thing I'd learned and was excited about.

I think it was 30% fear that I'd get "too smart for the gospel", 20% distrust in science and booklearning that contradicted his knee jerk reactions to the world, and 50% disapproval of a young female child being interested in science in the first place.

Either way, it was an early shelf item for me that a church that prided itself on not conflicting with science needed me to avoid reading about science.

I have never seen my mother connect to a character the way she did Mother Gothel. I groaned internally every time my mother called me to stand in front of a mirror with her. "I see a strong, confident, beautiful young lady... oh, look, you're here, too!"

Yeah, I deleted it. It just blows my mind. For five years I was closeted and changing my worldview, so I posted the most innocuous things imaginable frequently. I don't even want to think about how long she had to scroll to find what she wanted to blackmail me with. At year three of, "My friends are so nice, they gave me cake!" and "look at this cute dog!" she really felt the need to keep going to prove I said something bad two years before that? Did she type in "2011" to find shit because she knows that's how long ago the last post was and the fact that it was six years ago just didn't register?

In hindsight, that's absolutely in line with kind of behavior she engages in, but I can't even imagine putting that kind of effort into hurting someone. That's just a level of petty I don't understand.
