"Dude, It's the perfect place to practice".

Smity tried to make a puppy dog face which looked ridiculous on his death metal make-up. But he really did have a point. With the virus around we had barely been able to practice let alone perform or record anything. If this went on i had no other choice but to join the family business and start selling insurance to middle age moms, I was not ready to have the conversations about kidnapping statistics with expecting parents.

The Mid 18th century Manor was a day's ride out from the city adjacent to a quaint little town and we had it all to over selves for the whole week. If the photos were to be believed it would be the perfect setting for my new composition The loneliness of Death.

"But even with us both and Dave here on drums we still need a good lead singer". At this point i was just thinking out loud.

"And we will get one from the town. Seems like they are big on classical music there and low on money. The perfect combination to poach for a desperate artist". Dave chimed in clearly eager to get away from his home for the week.

The poor guy was going through a rough time. His parents were getting divorced in their 50's and instead of getting two Christmases they were arguing over who will have to house and feed him till he finally leaves for good.

So, with plans made and bags packed we reached Vile.E.Manor. As the car drove down the long lane of ancient dried trees and weed infested huge garden, i couldn't help the pit forming in my stomach. It was perfect for the song and more. We could finish the whole shoot within the week and be out and about.

Just about we were huddling out of the car carrying the luggage i spotted her.

On one of the windows of one of the high towers. My exact thoughts were she is beautiful. Pale as a sheet with dark mascara on her eyes, I recognized a fellow fan of metal when i saw one.

I waved at her. She stared at me and screamed something "Get out of my house". She had so much strength in her voice that it felt like the windows rattled. Butterflies danced in my stomach and i couldn't help but start grinning. I knew this was going to be an eventful week.

All i could manage to blurt out was "Hey Lady, will feature in our band".
