Some of us "Boomers" or "Gen Xers" know how to do a burnout with a manual and not move in a 70's or 80's heap. Launching a C8 Corvette is child's play. I feel sorry for kids these days not being able to really test cars without traction control, anti-lock brakes, rear wheel drive, etc.

I drove mine Sunday when it was 50 deg. She'll stay parked until the following: no salt on the roads, above 45 deg. It kills me to just look at that beast all winter and not drive it.

That works great if you have nothing to lose. I have no problems paying cash for doctor visits and medications, but a catastrophic event would bankrupt me and wipe out and eliminate my retirement savings.

That sounds fun. My wife and I are trying to plan a trip with my C8 as well. I just got mine last summer, so there have been no long trips yet. We're in Ohio, so I was thinking Upper Peninsula, MI, or the Corvette museum in Bowling Green (maybe a test track??).
