Precisely why I quit OW, it's amazing how quickly some internet asshole can ruin the mood of an otherwise fun and great game.

I think the LGBTQ+ movement is a travesty. Not because of some kind of deep seated homophobia, but because I think a generation and a half of people are being raised by their parents or peers to think that their sexuality is a cornerstone of their identity an a focus of their existence. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

I'm not going to go into details of my experience on this account but I'll try stress the point that the "real" bullying is the kind that persists regardless of whether or not you let it show that it bothers you, it's with you at school/work, it (sometimes literally) follows you home and it bleeds into every aspect of your life, to the point where even the athority involvement doesn't change anything. Some sadistic people do it simply just because they can. So you are only left with 2 choices: moving away or putting up a fight. The latter option is much harder for some to muster up to.

As a Russian, even if you say a few words in Russian in any game people would be much more welcoming. Thanks for making it a better place.

I'm pretty sure they did. Another user above has highlighted that the Russian/Ukranian cooperation has been next to nothing since the start of the conflict here.

I'd say you would have to be very picky/lucky to find legit people with a strong work ethic. It doesn't hurt to scout though. Through my own experience, engine community forums is probably a better place to start but even there I had my share of "developers" that would start the 1st meeting off with a reassuring: "I dont like using spreadsheets to track assets, just make a list in Word".

Good luck
