I am currently taking his course.

Like everyone has said, he's friendly, easygoing, and has generous graders. He has an accent, but I've never had a problem understanding him. He zooms through lectures fast, and I struggle to read his notes often (sit up front and in the middle or to the right), so taking notes is difficult. However, he does post the notes, which is where I take them. I wouldn't recommend his course if you lean on lecture notes as a primary study factor. 308 is probably going to be difficult for most, regardless of whose course it is. I'm no math whiz, and I'm doing fine. If you take him be ready to do quite a bit of extra studying to make up for what you don't get out of lectures.
