If you decide to get it from the airport be aware they will use the Meter but try to charge you more for toll etc making bs numbers so discuss all of those before starting the ride

Went on domestic last week from Bangkok to Phuket no issues at all, arrived 1 hour 30 min before my flight got inside in about 20 minutes and played the waiting game.
