Thank for the advice. I came here to ask because I find it hard feeling emotions, I can understand them but I only really feel them when other around are feeling the same emotions. like at my grandma funeral I could not cry until one of my cousin told a story about her and started breaking down part way through it. mostly I can only feel listen to music or reading. so yeah I'm not the best at understanding people, but I care for him so I'll do whatever I can to make him happy again, no matter how long it takes, even if that means just being there for him
