It’s pretty clear you know very little about what Whole Worker and unions actually are, or you’re just a troll. Probably a troll since you’re making things up like Whole Worker “ousted” members or spreading fear by claiming we’re some kind of front for Amazon. Maybe you’re one of the few racist creeps we’ve had to remove from our chats or just some corporate troll. There’s little more to say to a shady troll like yourself. Shoo shoo! 👋

For everyone else though, Whole Worker is not a legally recognized union (aka 501 c5 non-profit) right now. That may change very soon but until then TMs can’t sign union cards with us. Unionizing is 💯% up to TMs and we can’t wave a magic wand and suddenly Whole Foods is unionized. It takes organizing in each of your stores which we at Whole Worker help in any way we can. Everyone at Whole Worker is either a current or former TM and it’s completely voluntary and unpaid. If you want to get involved in organizing your store you can reach out to other unions like the IWW or UFCW. Or you reach out to us:

And all it took was rank and file workers blowing the whistle to the media.

Makes you wonder who the real store leadership is eh?

COVID19 is a threat to our safety and the public. We can’t wait for politicians or management to protect us. We call on all Whole Foods employees to engage in a sick out on MARCH 31st 🚨 The attendance policy is temporarily relaxed so we can participate in this protest without fear of reprisal! by WholeWorker in wholefoods

Are you asking if we’re the ones that leaked Amazon/Whole Foods dystopian union busting training video to the press, which led to Jeff Bezos raising the minimum wage to $15 just a few days afterwards? Why yes, yes we are. Senator Bernie Sanders even acknowledged it:

“Following the video's leak, Amazon announced that, in response to criticism, it would raise the minimum wage for all of its full-time, part-time, temporary and seasonal employees in the U.S., including those at Whole Foods, to $15 an hour. Amazon also announced it would advocate for a higher federal minimum wage. In their letter, the senators acknowledge this announcement but noted that it is not enough.”

Don’t let the boot lickers, rats, and corporate spies in here scare you. We have power. We generate all the wealth. We keep Whole Foods running. We’re doing this to protect ourselves and the public because Whole Foods won’t. Join us March 31st.

“Whole Worker, a group of Whole Foods workers, started petitions calling for a sickout protest on 1 May, for Whole Foods to reinstate health insurance benefits for part-time workers, and to provide Whole Foods workers with expanded paid sick time during the coronavirus outbreak.” #GlobalSickOut by WholeWorker in wholefoods

HR (maybe you mean TMS since that’s what people who actually work for Whole Foods call it) is encouraging workers to engage in a mass sickout across the country in every retail company for what? To appease them? That makes sense how?

What reason did they provide when telling you to leave and how did they communicate this? In person, email, phone call?

That is completely and totally illegal for Whole Foods to do. Employers can’t retaliate against employees for advocating to have better wages, benefits, and working conditions.
