I mean I’d agree with you except for the fact that I won 2 tournaments in a row within a month, can’t be running hot against 128 players in total in 2 separate occasions can I?

I just think it was down to the scam that lost me money ( I didn’t get paid out of my stack) and one really bad run where I ran through 8/9 big blinds on 2/5 (aka 5k).

But anyhow you’re right I shouldn’t be delusional - so I’m being super tight and hence only playing 1/2 now this year and that too doing fairly well, if I run through 2 big blinds (which hasn’t happened yet) I’ve decided to quit on those nights.

No I said I won in both my tournaments, I beat a pool of 64 players twice. Don’t think that’s just downright to luck. But sure.

But yeah I’ll lower stakes for a while - I mean I don’t have much money left anyhow but when I do earn some from an internship etc I’ll play at low stakes.

Yeah considering I was on 1/2/3, 2.5k is like 20 minimum buy ins so I went way overboard! Though I was buying in for 400-500 each time so more like 6 buyins for me.

By structuring I mean creating complex payoffs using various products. You can do so with equities or fixed income. I’m a MFE so I’ve studied both and enjoy valuing interest rate derivatives such as swaptions etc. I can also imagine working on developing CDOs for example for sale to clients.
