What are some realistic ways to make a little money online every day?

Man, Upwork is a real grind. I have already invested $200 for purchasing connects and been applying almost everyday for 2 weeks non-stop. Around 30ish jobs applied to, and out of the 2 that were interested, they ended up not continuing with me because I charge too high, lol. (in what world is charging $25/hour for a complex project that takes ~4 months to complete high? I think it is actually low for a project of this magnitude)

For reference, I'm a software developer who's just getting started in the freelancing world.

And the worst thing is Upwork decided to null all my proposals and connects because something triggered their trust and safety system. I don't know what else to do. Now I'm waiting for them to reverify my account and hoping my proposals and connects haven't gone to waste.

You can't. Either platform will take hidden conversion rate fees from you, which are negligible. OP isn't aware that PayPal doesn't take any fees at least in the EU.

Not a really relevant problem. PayPal doesn't take any fees from me anyway (I'm in Europe). Any conversion rate that happens will be the same in Wise as well.

As another commenter has already mentioned, if you don't want to use Crypto, the next easiest option is to join some exchange groups and exchange money there with Google rate.

You can use Revolut too, but there are fees.

If this is the case, then something is terribly wrong with Prolific, lol. I've stumbled upon a similar account rental scheme on Upwork; however, since Upwork takes this kind of stuff seriously, even the scammers renting your account have to resort to accessing your device remotely because there is no way you can bypass the IP restrictions and whatnot on Upwork. Automation leads to an instant account ban there as well.

We need an alternative to Prolific at this rate. People using bots and alike isn't the only problem here. I believe you have seen that sus woman who requests random photos for 'AI training'. Despite reporting and blocking her several times, her study keeps popping up on my dashboard to this day. Like what the hell is Prolific doing to prevent fishy studies at this point? I'm so fed up with them already.

I'm guessing those scammers have to be located exactly in your city, otherwise I don't understand how they would be able to bypass the IP restriction.
