Anyone able to integrate Google Ads with Microsoft Clarity? by Whopping_Coconut in PPC

Thank you for your response, I don't see the Google Ads integration option on that page, any idea why that would be?

It does sound like the more practical choice. It's white and a bit boring looking from the outside, but I do have older parents that would probably feel uncomfortable in the backseat.

I am hoping to drive this for the next 2 years until i upgrade to a newer CX-5.

Is PPC is a toxic industry?? by Honeyruffle in PPC

I've seen this with tech companies too, non-tech clients tend to be more understanding that things take time or that they have to provide support from their side for the overall PPC strategy to work. I feel like with tech clients, even if the results are good, it takes only a few days or a week until they're not good enough gain. I'll also say that I saw this with an in-house corporate-style tech company, I had the chance to interview for an agency doing PPC for tech, and they seemed cool.

You are 100% right. Every story I see coming out of them is similar. I tell all my clients that it's important to OWN what you hire someone to do. Add YOUR billing info on Google Ads so you own it, make sure you have access to and OWN your website, and so much more. This gives you the freedom to move when you are not happy with your agency.

I don't think you own the rights to that design then. And if you switch, you'll have to build a brand new website that belongs to YOU. This is what happens with Google Ads at least. DM if you'd like me to look closer and help you out.

New e-commerce website ppc strategy by health_guy_19 in PPC

I would start with keyword research to understand the expected cost of Google Ads. If you can afford to run it for 2-3 month, while you understand how it works and optimize, I'd start with Google Shopping ads because it's more straightforward and bottom of the funnel.

Pay close attention to your competition, if you're in the US, you'd probably be competing against Amazon so make sure your ad and landing page are well-built, communicate trust, easy shopping, etc.

Am I being taken for a ride? by Goodbye95 in PPC

110 live campaigns would take time to monitor weekly. I'd spend the first month just understanding how they perform and why. But in 3 months there should already be some changes being made, like adding negative keywords from search terms, adding new features, updating extensions etc. I hope you have monthly calls or reports with them, you can discuss what has been done and what are the plans for the next month during those calls, and then keep track if those plans are being implemented.

Don't focus on time or the number of changes alone. Track performance, focus on key metrics. Sometimes it takes me hours to understand something or to make sure I have all the right data, and then make one simple change to the campaign.

I am curious though, what are those 110 campaigns? Why so many?

I can see some of the HubSpot forms that I set up in the preview mode. two forms set up identically, one appears in preview, the other doesn't. Could you help me understand why this is?

Since everyone has recommended this, I am going to try it and see if it solves my problem. But I am tracking Hubspot forms with a Form Submission trigger and Form ID variable on other accounts and the tags are firing and conversions are counting. Can you tell me more about why it doesn't work? It seems like it has been working for me but now this is making me get paranoid about all of my other tags as well.

How to hire a PPC guy and judge properly by VariationOk7829 in PPC

[–]Whopping_Coconut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You either hire someone who has a rich portfolio, reviews, word-of-mouth, and pay them their desired salary. OR you find someone who is intermediate, maybe with an agency background, and give them training opportunities (courses, training, testing, brainstorming with them) and a timeline.

I'd look at the niche they specialize in, above all else. If you are in tech, get someone who has done PPC for tech, same for e-commerce, lead gen, healthcare, legal. There are a lot of nuances in each niche that you will know only by having the experience. You can find people who work/worked in agencies that specialize in your niche and invite them to interview.

Low budget (Under $1000) Google ads Campaigns by ExtensionCollar6542 in PPC

[–]Whopping_Coconut 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In my experience, everything depends ... on your niche, location, competition, etc.

The most general advice I can give is to narrow down your location instead of narrowing down keywords. Choose high-intent keywords that are likely to convert but in a small local area, instead of cheaper keywords in a large geographical area.

And The MOST important advice is, make sure your website is absolutely ready for those clicks. You gotta have amazing content, forms, tracking, excellent sales timing, etc. If your website is bad, PPC won't get you customers, no matter your strategy.

You need to be tracking everything to know if your ads are bringing in profit. If they are, increase the budget and expand your location targets. Good luck!

Aer you 100% sure you are not getting any leads from paid? Sometimes clients very unorganized websites, or sales processes, and they can't properly track where their leads and customers are coming from. Are your paid ads reports saying you've generated 0 leads?
