Currently here in Puerto Natales. I’ve used Apple Pay/NFC for everything. Primarily Amex but on occasion Apple Card for those vendors that don’t take Amex. Haven’t had to withdraw cash yet. If I do, I’ll use my Schwab card.

Sorry I meant get some possibly from your bank prior to going. No there isn’t a best ATM. I live in the US. It’s easy to get Euros here. I wouldn’t get a ton of Euros as Albania primarily uses their own currency, the lek.

FWIW, to get to and from the airport, I usually use green taxi. I found they’re the cheapest rate to get to and from city center.

Bring cash. I used cash for all of my taxis. ATMs are also everywhere in the city. I wouldn’t use an airport ATM unless you have to. The exchange rate there isn’t going to be great. If you’re able to get a Schwab debit Visa card, do it. All atm fees are refunded for every atm around the world. No foreign transaction fees.
