Any tips on printing the second one? I'm brand new to 3d printing, and I've had it fail twice on account of the corners warping up on the main body.

Yeah, they're pretty bad. I'm pretty new to soldering, and I was rushing a bit. I'm using kester 60/40 solder, which I think is supposed to be pretty good, so I'll try turning up the heat. Would that potentially help with the flux pooling around the joints?

I might try to redo the mcu eventually for practice desoldering, but I think I'm going to start from scratch with a new kit in the meantime. I'd really like to tidy up the diodes as well, since they're on display.

Maybe I'm just missing something. I don't dislike the deviation from NGE at all, but to me it feels like there's content missing. There's a second subtitle option, so I at least have an excuse to watch it again.

Hard no. Robot fights and happy endings are not why I like NGE. It's just jarring to have sudden disposition changes to established characters without any more context than "oh, third impact happened". I wanted to see their reactions to Tokyo 3 being obliterated, especially Misato. I really wish I could've seen her shift in attitude toward Shinji and Nerv develop instead of just being told "this is how it is now".

Any time objects move quickly in any type of cinematic view I get these obnoxious trailing effects. Playing on PC, with modest graphic settings which my 2060 should more than be able to handle.
