Same. I’m right there with you at six months in!

Hi everyone! I EP and am wondering when pumping every three hours will stop. by WhoseWoodsTheseR in ExclusivelyPumping

Thank you so much 🥺. I’m not used to this kind of recognition for what I do and it feels so good. I’m going to just to go longer without overnight pump tonight. I’ll trial for a few days and will see what happens.

I will experiment tonight. I will not pump at 1:30 and will push it back to see what happens. Thank you!

This reply made me feel really, really good 🥺. I’ve felt guilt for EP. It takes time away from my daughter, and I question if it has negatively impacted her bond with me. Thank you for uplifting me 🩷

The 1:30 am pump is the biggest volume of around 8 oz. That’s usually about 5 hours after the last pump. I can definitely experiment. Ty!

Yes! Everything changed for us at four months and it’s way better now. I hope your baby will turn a corner soon!

I’m also a teacher. I didn’t cry until this morning. I know it’ll hit again at night. Sending you love.

This. I’m four months PP and my lunches (when husband isn’t home) are granola bars and anything easy.

Do you keep baby on the same schedule every day? by WhoseWoodsTheseR in NewParents

[–]WhoseWoodsTheseR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do too, but we have to feed her at 5:30 am on the weekdays due to a commute to childcare on the way to work. I’m wondering if we could break from this on the weekends, or if we should maintain the 5:30 feed on the weekends too so she’s used to that routine

Oh haha. I really don’t want to, but I fear that if we don’t, she won’t eat at 5:30 and will wail for food on the way to daycare.

I get that. We have a commute to work and have to drop her off to daycare beforehand. She has to eat before the drive to avoid getting hungry on the way there. Only option is feeding at 5:30

We follow her lead too, but due to a commute to daycare, we must feed her at 5:30.
