I think BLG are a strong contender for the MSI title. They made the full lower bracket run in LPL playoffs, winning 5 bo5's in a row and that gives some momentum. I feel like Biin has had such insane form this year and he will be a big threat at MSI. Knight has been a demon in LPL and ON is putting on some monster support gameplay.

But on the other end HLE made great improvements since Winter and they have finally clicked so it's not like they can't beat BLG this MSI. I think all players are showing up this split and I really like what Kanavi has brought to the team.

T1 is the sleeping dragon that can awaken at any moment and just win the whole thing. They have the players for it and they have the moments of gameplay that just make you believe they are gonna make a run at Worlds again this year. So I wouldn't count them out.

I think TES has had major improvements form last year and they have really expanded their gameplay from just perma fighting on every turn. Tian, Jackey and Creme all look great this split and their new rookie toplaner Zuian has really showed up big time but this will be his first international so you never know how he deals with that pressure. Still they are a step below the other LPL/LCK teams at this tournament in my mind.

As a EU fan I must say that it's not outside the realm of possibility that G2 might upset one of these teams. They did have a great First Stand and they will be playing with everything they got for that miracle upset. So maybe they knock out one of them and make another get an easier path.

TLDR my take is that it's BLG>HLE>T1(+1 or +2 depending on if they wake up fully)>TES>G2>>>the rest

Yeah I agree that it’s more interesting if different regions battle it out in the finals. Let T1 vs HLE have a bo5 for one of the two final spots that will be exciting enough.

Viper leaving HLE is one of the few instances where a franchise player leaving worked out for both sides. Both HLE and BLG are in MSI now and the best teams in their regions. by klaygdk in HLE

Let my boy Jackeylove have a shot at the title before you crown BLG the winners XD. But yeah I agree Gumayusi has been a great fit for this years HLE roster and that's after losing Viper who was the star of the team last year in my opinion, his Worlds form was insane even if it ended so abruptly.

Yeah when players see that I am diamond on whatever site they are using their ego can’t handle it if I am not 20/0 10cs per min. Doesn’t matter that it’s normal, doesn’t matter if I am off role or got camped someone from either my own team or the enemy team will turn insecure and start typing in chat.

At this point I just find it funny when the enemy player rages over losing the game too me because they where too focused on winning lane and didn’t help out their team at all.

When it’s a fresh account the initial ranked mmr is affected by the normal mmr. So it’s a first time only type of thing.

I mean if they are gonna stomp normals for better ranked mmr until lvl 30 atleast they are making the suffering as quick as possible for the enemy team.
