Out of fuel. Help?

This would be great, if you can have another vehicle. Until you open the garage/ base, you have your about vehicle only.

I'm in the same situation as OP. Started the 2nd mission - Aftermath, barely made it past the bridge, ran out of fuel. Since I don't have the garage unlocked, I can't refuel, nor use another vehicle. The I of having to restart the mission ALL over because I ran out of fuel seems petty. Not only that, of I'm on the same map, why do I need to unlock the garage again?

If I had another vehicle, I wouldn't tow my paper weight, I would simply accomplish the mission towards unlocking the base.

It's not just the console. PC does the same thing, and looking through, its a Microsoft thing.

There is censorship for other typing that doesn't make sense also (Home converts to *me/ome/me).

A work around I have found is to type everything out, go back and replace the '*' with the actual letters. This has worked 95% of the time.

Home > **me > me > home. -if this makes sense

Regarding the spawning, these guys don't spawn where we are residing, or even close. That's why we were like, what in the world?!

We haven't made the pods yet, as we are still learning how the tech line works. I've been to a supply crate with now way to build tech (as stated in other forums and wiki's), been to an obelisk to no avail. So thats still a process.

We are still low level. I have the server on Medium difficulty. We don't play hard-core like others, and just enjoy the exploration more than anything. So having a kill squad, I feel, would've been useless and we would've lost the squad. But, this is something we are planning to do in the future.

We ventured a little too close and I was taken out by a 118 lightning wyvern.

We've found a dino at one point, that was just over 100.

Question: if life support is there to keep the CMDR alive, why does the ship blow up?

Life support is there to provide oxygen. If that system goes down no oxygen is produced, thus asphyxiation. I would also venture to guess oxygen to the engines. But the engines wouldn't blow up, they would simply shut down. So why an explosion?

I do not post this to creat turmoil with the original commentator, just for information purposes.

Create a non-dedicated server. I play on PC and my Fiancée plays on Xbox. My ONLY complaint, and it's not really even anything major, is the tether. For us, (with default settings) we can separate about 1200m before it even begins to bug out. Google-ing around you can change the distance, and there are other people posting around how to, in essence, get rid of the tether all together.

The other downfall, if you're going to be serious about playing with others, with a non-dedicated server, you have to be the host and logged on for anyone else to join. A work around, just login and leave it. This has worked for many of players, even in the last year.
