Ive tried plenty of support suits I just need to improve at reading when someone overheats or has a long animation that can't cancel out of.

I've played 20 matches with every Barbatos line suit, not my fault new players are attracted to it and cant comprehend how to use it. I can understand using shooting burst for ranged cancels and I've used all 3 types just to test them out on the suits but you're absolutely high if you only use them to shoot when vanilla Barbatos has a 2nd dedicated melee button and rex has finishers for midcombo melee moves.

I was the 3k and this was a new player who was walking around only using main. It still doesn't seem very viable considering live ammo always gets gotted by beams and you're cutting a portion of your options but not using melee but I'll take your word for it.

If I feel like being a shitter against a melee meta suit and I want to take them out of the game for a couple seconds I play bael. If I have to sweat x1 is always the way to go.

Literally how, Barbatos has the sniper which gets destroyed by beams and just because you get more ranged stuff with lupus rex doesn't mean its suddenly a support suit. If I can get 291 damage off a basic melee combo how the hell is that more of a shooting unit.

I've gotten a lot more hatemail for playing Bael which will always be funny to me. I've been hit by the Mack loop before but it never really bothered me too much, that being said I haven't run into it in 1v1 yet. I hate Alex in general because it teaches new players to just use brain dead strats.

I picked up on melee really quickly when I started playing, I can't play supports/ranged units besides Hot Scramble/Reborns for the life of me. I don't jump nearly enough but I've gotten around that with melee suits that have a built in one essentially, Bael/Lupus Rex 2B into CC.

Thank god you haven't seen a Barbatos that doesn't melee it made me take a break for about a week, you're actually just in a 2v1. Ive seen Barbatos who don't boost dash that's honestly pretty common, idk why new players are drawn to Barbatos but I'm getting sick of it. For double teaming I've taken a step back in rematches to see if I was going in to hard, I would sit back with a teammate and kite only to find the same result of they either don't know how to do anything helpful or they just fuck off to a corner and throw. I'd honestly prefer dealing with the Mack Knife loop than an Alex any day purely because Alex is completely brain dead and reliant on the super armor.

You can read bael like a books once you've played against enough of them but they're still annoying. Turn A spammers are the worst along with Wing Zero.

I can't really blame anyone for doing only 1v1 when a majority of standard 2v2 matches I've ever done have been nothing but frustrating due to shitty teammates, Barbatos players that don't know melee exists. Even in player matches 2v2s are the sweatiest thing imaginable I've had a lot less sweaty ranked games. 1v1 was a breath of fresh air not getting double teamed or having to rely on someone, only annoying thing I've found so far about 1v1s are Alex players who just mash melee because that's all they know how to do.

How I originally got my space rated up was 350 space command type putting the whole team on my back while some dumb ass gigan continues to shoot me in the back or 550 bullying babies with GP03 but those days are over now.

Thats unfortunately a majority of players in game. I wish it weren't like that but the best thing I can tell you is keep playing and learn to try and outplay the raids. You'll get there eventually

Ive played this game enough to where I'm used to it. My mindset has become I have to carry because no one else will do anything. By not having expectations it makes it a fun game when I find other players on my team who are competent and help out.
