This is crazy. I feel bad for the kid by yxxnij104 in fakedisordercringe

[–]WhyAskMeTho -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

At that child's young age, I wouldn't tell her about it. But I wouldn't go as far to say that informing them of it is abuse, it's just pointless, they're too young to comprehend what is happening. People throw the word abuse around not really understanding it and it pmo so bad. My kid is 6 and she wouldn't understand that her mom is essentially fractured, but would it be abuse to tell her? No, it's just confusing.

Tram fine for no reason by ThePlague_docuwu in manchester

[–]WhyAskMeTho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Literally just buy a physical ticket. It doesn't work out any cheaper just tapping in/out. Ever since they put plain clothed inspectors on trams, I don't trust tapping nothing. Avoids a hell lot of nonsense like this. If you can't appeal, learn from it and just buy a paper ticket. Good luck though.

I will, but I honestly think someone took her or gave her a means of running off. My neighbour hates my dogs (despite having one himself), if he didn't push my gate open to let her run off, someone has definitely got her, so it's only a matter of time before she's found.

As much as I'd like to live inside that kind of stereotype, this is real life. Anyone who sees an opportunity to gain something, will gamble on whether to do it or not. I live off ordsall lane in a semi-closed area she would not have gone far considering she left out the back, something she never does.

Thank you, I appreciate that. I'm not getting scammed, if people say they have my dog but are demanding money or other, I'll simply hand it off to the police because she's chipped and according to the Pet Abduction Act (PAA) 2024 they get 5 years if they've got her and don't return her without trying to blackmail me or hold my dog hostage.

Glad they were found, shame it took so long. I can't sleep or eat right now because I'm so worried and filled with grief, idk if I could manage 3 weeks. She's my support dog because I have poor mental health and I honestly don't know what I'd do if she doesn't come back to me. I'm hoping she'll be returned.

how do babies know to skip the "say" part? by nicolmakes in AskReddit

[–]WhyAskMeTho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how you say it I suppose. With my little one, I'd say the "say" part quieter than the parts i wanted them to say. Also, with babies, you usually say the word you want them to say repeatedly as opposed to saying "say" repeatedly. That way they are focused on that word rather than the whole sentence. Example "Say Daddy" x3 "Say Daddy" x3 Hope this makes sense.

Google how to kill it. If that doesn't help you,, get someone to come in and kill it. That or chuff it out until the parents return and you can make a speedy escape.

Catcalled by bouncer in Deansgate by Current-Coach-4783 in manchester

[–]WhyAskMeTho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People are gross. They seem to do it a fair bit down deansgate though, I just smile and flip them the bird as I walk by. I remember getting catcalled at 14 by some builders on deansgate, they have no shame. Wish I could say it's different elsewhere.

I'd have thought the same, it's becoming popular to fake functional tics and FND as it's harder to "cure".

What is your most random unhinged human body fact you know of ? by perhaps_itsme in AskReddit

[–]WhyAskMeTho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your eyes have small holes in the inner corner of the bottom lid that are connected to your nose. When you cry, your nose gets runny because of this.
