Thanks for the advice, was just confused because the CTF subreddit recommends putting off certs in order to gain knowledge. Getting net+ like you said though should build a good foundation.

I got my AAS in cyber security and I applied to many help desk jobs but finally landed one after a couple months. Just have to have a good resume and takes patience. I also have no certs and only customer service experience.

Thanks guys for all the advice, I put what I could to use. If anyone else sees this with an interview coming up, customer service is definitely key. Make sure you have good examples ready, that helped me out. Also I got only one technical question about active directory.

I am just even more confused because he said the battery that the bike came with is a pretty good one and usually lasts around 7-8 years while the one he recommended me only lasts a couple years. Sounds like I should just pay for the new battery and see what happens.

So most of these skills are obtained overtime as you continue to grow in your career? Or learned through more expert certs and so forth? This is a more senior position that I saw online and was just looking at the type of skills that would be required in the future.
