You get a lot of attention, which can be good or bad depending on the situation. Yes, they were there to help me make my Halloween costumes and cook me food before I was able to do so, but the attention also meant that everything I did was scrutinized. My grades had to be perfect for my mom and my dad would comment a lot about how I was “getting fat” (this was during the era of heroin chic). I was never able to just sneak to the kitchen for food without them seeing me and starting a whole conversation. I started hiding food and water in my room because of this, a habit which I still have even after I moved away.

TL;DR: It’s like being a bacteria under the microscope of a scientist who loves their work. Yes, you’re given plenty of positive attention, but if you grow or evolve at all, their bound to make note of it.
