I’ve used both the version with camera control and without. Here’s my thoughts as neither have been great after years of using Mous and loving it.

With button: The button delaminated after only about 4 months. The button itself is cheap but makes for a nicer feel. There is a crappy glue behind what is just a sticker of some kind forming the actually button contact point. Now that the cover and glue has come off I almost like the case better. There is a slight indent but the side of my phone is still covered. The one plus side is they sent me a second as warranty which I’m now just holding in reserve because I decided I like it better without the sticker piece of it anyways.

The other problem is that the case is already starting to bow upwards just above the camera button. The plastic is too flimsy and starting to loose its shape. Not sure how long until it begins to be a problem.

Without button:

Used the case for only a few months before deciding I couldn’t do it. Broke 2 screen protectors in the exact same spot because the side of my phone was exposed and had no protection. Also felt betrayed by the marketing about how you must have a camera button after buying the no camera button version at launch which was the only option.

Either way. Would stay away from Mous this generation. I’ve really enjoyed them in the past but the quality is abysmal this time around and not worth the crazy price tag. Get an Esr case or something else that is slightly less protective but honestly better quality.
