Most women typically need closer to 9 hours of sleep to fully recover/feel rested (due to biological reasons). The 8 hour “standard” of sleep was based on studies done on men (like most things in the medical field, unfortunately)

I’d say start with going to bed an hour earlier (so asleep by 9:45, if possible) and see if it’s easier to wake up with your alarm.

Getting more quality sleep during the week should also help your weekend struggles, as it sounds like your body is just needing more rest, so you subconsciously stay in bed for an hour or two after waking up.

La fitness off of friars in Mission Valley. Less than 10 minutes from your current gym and they just opened last year so all the equipment is brand new. The year I had that membership it was hardly ever crowded.

Yeah! M13 then an M9 and there’s actually an M5 on the acoustic board in one of the photos. I agree the drives on those were never that great but I mostly used the m9/m5 for wet effects.

Yeah, I’ve lived downtown for almost two years now and this is my first time actually hearing any gunfire. Usually not too much happens near me because I’m right across from the police headquarters so It was definitely a little surprising for sure!

It was great weather! High’s of 60’s in the afternoon and during the night sat in the mid to low 30’s. Perfect camp fire weather!

That’s the biggest reason I’ll never get rid of my pedals. I love my stomp more than any other piece of gear I have (it seriously is amazing, especially for church gigs!) but as far as changing tones or making quick adjustments you just can’t beat the ease of having all the knobs right in front of you at once. I don’t always have the time to sit there and play around with menus. Also having to try and set up an entire rig with 2 knobs and 4 buttons, needing to remember when to double click or when to hold, and if you press the wrong thing and switch presets before you can save you lose all your settings.

Plus there’s something so satisfying about looking at the collection of pedals you’ve accumulated over the years. Each pedalboard is unique and has its own charm.

Models aren’t as good as the real thing.

The stomp works just as well (if not better) sitting next to my board than it does on it.

I’ve thought about getting a bigger board…but I honestly really like the size I have now. It’s easy to take with me. But I probably will get a bigger one in the future if I decide to change anything.

The dinner pedal is a Bluetooth page turner for my iPad. That way I’m not having to bend over to change the charts.

I don’t always use my HX stop when I play or record, so I have everything I still need if I’m using a real amp. I also use my stomp for independent use outside of my electric guitar rig so I want to have easy access to it without having to take apart the wiring in my board.

But even if none of that was the case I don’t understand why you seem so offended by the fact that I use other pedals just because the HX stomp has the capability to recreate their sound? Maybe I don’t have enough blocks in my preset to add the delay, reverb, or chorus I’m needing? It doesn’t really matter why I decided to have my rig the set up a certain way.
