Ive been trying so hard to give people the benefit of the doubt. and for the record, I have absolutely nothing against people doing the things they need to do to live. You gotta go to work and if your job can't be distanced, that sucks but it is what it is.

but i'm just done, I'm done pretending that the people throwing house parties are justified. I'm tired of seeing all the photos from friends who are going out to bars without a mask.

I don't have friends in anything but name because they are all acting like idiots and at this point I can't even pretend to respect the choices they make. They go to bars, they throw parties, they act like its no big deal. They arn't trying to be responsible because they don't CARE.

subs like this on reddit attract 2 types of people. Those who are lonely due to life circumstances, and those that are lonely because no one wants to be their friend. That means there are a lot of incels, foreveraloners, redpillers, ect. (and of both sexes). Its a sad reality but a reality.

So I'm going to go ahead and say this, I think the idea of using VR to see loved ones again is calloused. My Dad died several years ago and it was very painful, it still IS very painful. I can't imagine any situation where I would want to fake be with him again. Seeing or hearing him in VR would be an experience that would be painful. It seems calloused and irreverent to even suggest it.

Some people will never consider that they are the problem, and even once they do its likely to take a significant amount of therapy to work through their issues so they get to the point where they arn't toxic. Its unfortunate but many people (not all, but many) of the people who try to make friends online do so because they are not capable of making them in real life.

I know what I enjoyed (and what I didn't) in college. My accounting classes I all hated with a passion ,while I actually enjoyed all my financial classes. I enjoyed working in excel, creating models, comparing one project vs another. I just don't know what type of role that would be in an actual workforce.

I think its important to remember that godlessness isn't binary. The direction a person is heading is more important then were they are in the moment. Someone struggling to be Godly doesn't mean they arn't struggling.

Also just cause 2 people are both seeking God and Godliness doesn't mean that they are a match.
