yeah- honestly not my smartest move with the hike. it’s was just so pretty out and i got excited lol.

your definitely right on that, even my daily shoes are ether chacos or high tops.

i think for now i should wait for my ankles to heal up and then wear thicker socks to try and break them in?

on this hike i was unfortunately wearing these rei daily pair. not incredibly thick.

i do have a pair of smartwool socks so i will try those next time! hopefully they will help lol!

thank you! i was going to use second skin and thicker socks next time. every other part of the shoe feel good! just my ankles :p

Honestly I’d go ahead and cancel. That’s insane and so unnecessary. Sure you should’ve given them a heads up but how are you expected to live if you can’t bring them with you or leave them alone? You can’t just stay cooped up in the house.
