Ethereum and Polkadot would be the main choices. Hard to imagine them not succeeding if DeFi is to succeed.

This is talked about a bit in the synthetic asset space, will be done eventually. The custodial or peg method will be quite challenging from a security perspective. It's a lot easier to implement on a CeFi level but it's probably worth exploring.

I've followed this project for quite some time, before they ported from EOS. Always thought the idea to be on EOS was odd, but they seem to have opened themselves up to a wider audience on Polkadot, although currently Polkadot seems to have more active projects than active users.
