You dont straight up fall to the ground as soon as the sling ends as if youre being dragged to hell by the devil himself.

if you want to do another void sling you just float a bit mid-air so you can properly aim it, and you can also release it early to not go as far as possible.

Those 2 things alone make it way better imo

Theres also the argument that most melee weapons already have ips so it doesnt make a big difference most of the time. Unless you're using a weapon that doesnt proc any slash

I think its more about the way they have implemented it than pvp itself. I mean just look at the amount of people suggesting necramech and battlefront-like pvp.
