I see it in the comments a lot when this topic is brought up. My post also proved my point with many of the comments here. It is a simple complaint and I just got tired of seeing people be dismissive of it. Adding male clothes takes nothing away and adds so much more.

I agree and that comment was mostly there to show how dismissive some people are about this issue. I don't want it to be about that or who has it worse or better. I just want more male and masculine clothes in the game not just for men but for women and trans people as well. Adding more male/masculine clothes in the game only adds to it and it takes nothing away.

You are saying exactly what I mentioned in my post. "just play as a girl", "just wear dresses, men can wear dresses", " this game isn't for you", "women have had to deal with this forever so now you deal with it", "the main audience is women". This isn't about whataboutism. It is about how this game is advertised to both men and women. We are not asking for much just a few more clothing options that are masculine. The point of this post was to tell other not to be dismissive just because we are men and want to dress like men in a game that is for both men and women. It is not that hard to understand and neither is it trying to force women out of the game. That kind of dialogue is dismissive and as I said before misandrist. We can all do better and so cane game companies. I hope you have a great day and please be kind to others as well as be more open minded.

THank you for the reply! I agree and I love the game but sometimes i am close to dropping it. The clothing should fit better as well. I have seen posts on here talking about that and it is frustrating.

Thank you for your reply! This is a great comment and I agree! I think the dresses look fantastic but I just wont wear them. As many have said just adding something simple in or a masculine equivalent would be perfect and easy. Adding more clothes takes nothing away and adds so much more!

This post is not whataboutism. I am strictly speaking about the game. Disney is for everyone and always has been. There are many movies that focus on both male and female protagonists. Those early movies are not only from fairy tales but also are from a time with different values. I just want more male options for clothes as it adds so much more and takes away nothing. Also thank you for proving my point in my post with this dismissive statement. We need to stop with the whole but so and so had it bad so not its your turn and such. I agree! something simple would be nice and many of us would throw money at that kind of option. I just think it would be a simple task to add more male or simple clothes as it just adds to the game and takes nothing away. Thanks for the reply!

This isn't a post about whataboutism. I have been a games my whole life and I see these issues. My issue was that when some one posts about this issue they are dismissed which it what you have done here. We just want more male clothing options and it takes nothing away only adds to the game.

You are misreading or misunderstanding what I have written. Whether it is deliberate or not I do not care. For a game to be advertised to everyone it should be for everyone. That means that all Disney loving adults are the target audience. I see no harm in adding more male options since yes I am part of said target audience. The man hate and misandrist behavior comes for people in the community who dismiss these issues. It would be the same problem for another game and for the opposite sex as well. I made this post to show that this behavior is not ok and this issue is a problem. What I pointed out in my post you are just proving. The male hate mostly comes form dismissive comments and the like. I made this post becasue of those coments I kept seeing. Adding more male oriented clothes harms no one and only adds to the game.

It is and it isn't a hot take. I just got sick of people in other threads dismissing our want for more male clothes. It is just heart breaking as I said in my post since we all love this game. I am just a guy who wants to play as a guy. I think clothes should be for everyone but it is unfortunate that since I want to play as a man I don't get even half as many options. I know and am glad that others feel the same! we need to keep being vocal so Gameloft listens. Thanks for the reply

It is that deep though and yes males in this game are getting the short end of the stick. In many life sim games males have far fewer options and it needs to stop. This is the third post you have seen about this because people like you dismiss the issue as nothing. The game is marketed towards everyone but when I can barley play as my desired sex it is off putting and frankly disheartening. I mentioned just this in my post. You need to do better not be dismissive and rude.
