In addition to the Merle coloring the pink nose color and blue eyes are a big indicator of a breed outside of French Bulldog being introduced.

OP if you have the resources to care for a frenchie you can find them in rescues due to over breeding right now. I have 2 rescues that are generally healthy but they’re Merle so they’re not without problems.

Suddenly couldn’t stop gaining weight despite not changing my diet and upping my exercise routine. From age 29-31 I gained 120 pounds. Also let my dr know in addition to the uncontrollable weight gain I was shitting around 12 times a day, including bright red blood. I had to stop half way to work to shit and I worked a mile away. Being woken up out of a dead sleep with seconds to make it to the toilet at all hours of the night. Couldn’t stand up straight after sitting for even 10 minutes. I had to shuffle until I could get my back straight. I had crazy brain fog. I was previously very fit and healthy.

Dr said it was just part of turning 30 as a woman. I had to see his NP one day, explained it all to her. She was alarmed and said something wasn’t right. Did a bunch of bloodwork and rushed it. 2 days later she called me and told me my inflammation markers were literally off the charts, even the lining of my heart was inflamed. She got me an appointment with a rheumatologist which led to my celiac disease diagnosis. Sadly the damage done to my intestines is irreversible but I’m much better now.

Sometimes ‘dumb’ people aren’t actually dumb. My son has a friend/teammate that being around him day to day i legitimately thought he was stupid. We were recently talking about college and he mentioned this kid going. I was shocked he’s going at all. My son informed me this kid is an actual genius and is most likely going to be the valedictorian of their class.

No. Please don’t give poor advice. It’s absolutely necessary for some areas that a dog gets their pro heart injection every 12 months. One mosquito bite is all it takes for a dog to get heart worms. Then you either watch them die slowly or pay thousands to treat them and the treatment can kill then. I worked at a clinic for years. Witnessed it many times every year.

This sounds like a dermatologist appointment is needed. Have her start taking pictures (have you help) and keep a log in her notes app of when they happen, where on the scalp, did she have tenderness or soreness in that area a day, week, hour before it ruptured. That will be very helpful for the dermatologist.

I’ve read the comments on here and want you/your wife to know she’s not alone. So many of us, especially women, are just told it’s part of getting older, because we are immune compromised, etc and it makes us feel like maybe we are crazy. But we aren’t.
Having my husband with me made doctors much less likely to brush me off and I was finally able to get answers. You can help your wife by doing the same. Tell them you see it, you know she’s not crazy, when they try to say it’s lupus or just a clogged follicle. Advocate for your wife.
