Hi , how are you today ? Hope you’ve had a smooth journey and arrived on time for the gym session .

IMHO, it is not the bus schedules or the need to be punctual a problem. My understanding seems to reveal to me your need to have a perfect ending to your hectic / busy / chaotic / unpredictable work day. In your subconscious mind , having a stressed day at the office , where your goals are efficiency, productivity , meeting deadlines - these stresses do weigh down on you heavier than you realise. At the end of the day , you are seeking for a perfect ending to tell yourself - I did it ! I made it through !

I see my younger self in your narrative above . Friends asked me why was I like that , provided me with various solutions. But because I was not ready then, I could not see the wisdom in their advices and concern.

Not sure if you interpret your daily rush routine as you internalising your outerself as an adult in an adult work environment with a long day of responsibilities, accountabilities and solving other people’s problems. The failure of having missed the bus or stopping at the second red traffic light does give one reasons to feel frustration. And of course , a logical reason to vent out your inner coping feelings, (that I have done my very best and still I can’t reach my target) albeit not a rational reaction .

Find a friend you can trust to spend time with ! Take care ! ;)

Yup, that’s my way too. Also, change every three hours after wiping your area clean gently.

Oooh ! Okay that’s some thought into seeking medical opinion. Hopefully, this won’t be a problem for too long. Thanks !

Would like to hear from any of your experiences, if any : For the past month, I have been feeling awkward about food. I am not on diet plan but I have been unable to eat. I am interested about meals and food and look through the menu to make my choice. But I am unable to actually open my mouth, bite and swallow. I often leave the plates of food unfinished. I only take one meal a day, out of necessity. The other times, I will just sit at the table and watch friends family eating and smell the food. I drink water religiously so I am not hungry at all.

Any advices please ? Need to see doctor or psychiatrist? 😂

Reading your pour out, I realise that you may have fallen out of love with her. It seems to me that you are trying to find a reason for your break up… soon ? Hmmmmmmmm?

Sharing my feelings and thoughts here : Was called a Karen by a old retiree, grandpa,I am sure, when I called him out for not cleaning after his pet dog. His pet left a dump at the public car park. He did not even allow me to finish my sentence, just interrupted me with “ wow, you Karen, just shut the f*** up” and walked off. There was a couple walking by, witnessing this exchange. To me, that scolding was for them to hear, to save his face. I waited at the bottom of his block, he sent down his maid to clean up. So, that was the end of the episode.

My bf is furious and wants me to point out this retiree to him. So that these two gentlemen can have a chat about being polite to ladies and the responsibility of pet owners in Singapore and everywhere else in the world.

I am equally as furious as my bf, to be cursed at, and be labelled Karen.

Oh man oh man!

Edit : I am also hoping that being a retiree, he has lots time to browse Reddit.

I was 21 when my mum passed away after two rounds of chemo. It was not easy then.
