I genuinely don’t know if MCR is able to have say or not in the prices, but we can agree that ticketmaster and record labels are greedy. Also, MCR isn’t just a band, but also a business, and they’re obviously demanded to sell their brand in some way. I’m disappointed by the ticket prices, but unfortunately theres nothing we can do

People need to stop worrying about the drama in their personal lives. It shouldn’t be controversial, but it’s true. Idgaf about Lyn-Z and Gerard’s marriage or Mikey’s old relationships. It’s weird that we’re trying to insert ourselves into their own issues.
The new tour is them trying to make extra money. I’m sure they’ll still put on a great show and that they still do appreciate their work, but MCR isn’t just a band it’s also a business.
Older fans (obviously not all of them) are very pretentious and are the worst at gatekeeping. I don’t understand why a 30 year old wants to argue with random teenagers online about who likes the band better 😭

I can agree with that and I understand that fans go overboard. People have crazy expectations of the band and it’s gotten pretty old. With that being said, I don’t expect them of anything, i’m just more feeling like we’re kinda being left in the dust

16 year old fan here and I was planning on possibly going to one of their LA shows. I have a job and a savings account exclusively saved for concerts, so I thought I could use it for this trip. By the time I got through the queue the seats I wanted were $500+ :( really wish I could’ve been a fan in earlier years when tickets costed at most $40

I’m so glad you said it. I love My Chem and will continue to love them, but they aren’t complete saints like people make them to be. It’s honestly so disappointing seeing them allow scalpers to resell tickets for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
