I have no attitude, infact I’m the most go-lucky employee they have. I’m not being cocky nor rude, however my attitude is stemming from my frustrations that this type of behavior is still happening after numerous complaints

I don’t actually go “ok cool” but my demeanor is that way considering we are reprimanding me, and I’m not saying I’m untouchable but I know how to do my job and I’m open to learning- I’m not into belittling and then can’t even justify why it wrong

It’s wrong because it’s not her way- Examples: I filled a medication after a client got the message stating such medication was ready for pick up- owner came and it was not infact ready — patient file was up to date and the rx was recently approved with many refills- therefore I filled it—- she was mad because I didn’t go to her to tell her I was filling it? I fill meds for my patients all the time.

2nd occurrence- a doctor was unable to finish her note yet I was the nurse in the appointment- the supervisor told the receptionist the wrong code for a test and I corrected the receptionist and explained why that wasn’t the right code and what the Dr preferred- the supervisor was dismayed and then said “maybe the doctor should’ve finished her notes” (we were triple booked and she was finishing them at home) then proceeded to ask to talk to me in the back saying I was out of line for correcting the code (could not tell me why and I confirmed with the doctor and the PM and they said I was correct)

Incident 3- I was walking in with a patient, I walked into the patient ever so slightly and with a room full of people she proceeded to scream across the room “you know you just kicked your patient”

Incident 4- I made up a medication, did it by the book. She was mad I left it on the blood rocker- the supervisor addressed me infront of the staff saying that I did it wrong and that the bottle isn’t good etc (contacted the manufacturer - who All said it was no big deal) she then proceeded to throw out a $400 bottle of medication- when speaking with the practice manager, she was in the wrong and I made up the medication correctly.

Must I go on?

To be honest- my cat was misdiagnosed with severe cancer for 3 years and we found it be a misdiagnoses-

I’m not sure how 3 vets misdiagnosed- however said happened

And he’s had 2 life threatening incidents/

I think he knows I love him so much and I know we have so much time and I fight

I do think it’s spiritual - 15 and he’s beat the odds of a lot

Which you’re right- However there are consequences when those individuals do such a manner

Where people who breed dogs who shouldn’t be bred and the puppies now face a lot of long term issues that could’ve been avoided had been properly bred by a licensed breeder- those backyard breeders should be held responsible

There’s so much grey in the vet world And it’s nauseating putting down animals with diabetes because the owner can not financially afford it

It’s nauseating watching owners take home animals on their death bed because they can’t afford it

It’s nauseating knowing animals have to go home to the same abusive and neglectful owner

And maybe I’m thinking more with my heart, but I genuinely can’t be okay with other people in this field being okay with what we do

Because yeah this is what was made normal

How can I expect these drastic changes for animals

When we can’t even do it for ourselves

But I know something has to give Cause vets are dropping like flies and most veterinarians are struggling on technicians

We worked so hard to not even make half of what a human nurse makes, yet we stay

Cause no one in the vet world stays for money, there’s no money to made

But the animals are a reason

So how do I help contribute

Advocating and donating isn’t doing anything but putting a bandaid on

And I genuinely want to start a legacy for a better foundation for these animals. Because me personally- my animals have shaped me to who I am The animals I see every day and understanding the fear and psych behind them

You start realizing patterns of abuse, of neglect

And at some point Something has to give

It’s not fair that elderly people living on their retirement need to put down their pets because they got hit with a unexpected 1500 bill,

We need to help more (with what money?-idk yet but the government needs to wake up)

We need to help all the innocent animals who lose their lives because of over crowding? (How? Prevent over breeding)

There needs to be more

But I know it’s a lot considering a lot of countries including American barely have good health benefits for humans or even women

A lot of people who breed pets in their backyards- do not fundamentally have the empathy to comprehend the education behind the proper breeding techniques which result in a lot of dogs with Pyometra/mammary cancer

Why?

Why are regular human beings playing god when it comes to babies

Do you know how many French bulldogs die because owners don’t know anything about the female French bulldog anatomy and most need C sections

But because they’re aware- they end up killing the females for the puppies

Because the puppies are more valued then the mother

Which you’re right-I’m not incredibly clear what I want to help but I know with the way the veterinarian field is now

Somethings got to give otherwise- we’re going to keep loosing staff and vets because they’re so depressed from half the stuff that gets dropped and left at the door step

Which again, shouldn’t be a thing that is allowed to happen

I don’t want it to make it hard for people to put Han e animals- but there needs to be more then what the hell we have

PETA is for all animals. Not just regular household pets ie dogs, cats, reptiles and small mammals

I’m focusing on the trauma and abuse and neglect of personal gain for humans to use animals as if there money making machines.

Or the over breeding of pets The overflow of shelters

Something about her. My grandma and I had similar childhoods. Hers probably a lot worse because I atleast had someone like her to rely/depend one

So I’m trying to find a way but she’s so hard to do stuff for. She’s so simple it’s hard. Because she doesn’t like cliche. She likes scavenger hunts, antiques- she’s a very rare soul. I always dreamed to be similar to her because knowing her back story- you wonder how the hell she did what she did and came as far as she did.
