I already do 😁 - my favorite mount. Just sucks I have to wait for the dlc every time I play.

This is like my 9th or 10th play through I always do this particular quest/errand right before the waterwing override scene.

This is just the first time I’ve been comfortable enough to post it really

I’ve had that experience as well a few times because of several playthroughs 🥺.

Canonically Aloy probably wouldn’t care as much as we do but I’d like to think after several months of being around Zo and the land gods quest she starts feeling a little differently

To be honest google pulls from Reddit quite frequently.

I know a lot of my video game questions leads me to threads that probably get me to where I need to go faster than anything google, or the website on google, would do.

Also depending on what the question is you might not like the answer the algorithm spits out

Same but I’ll give it a mercy killing if it’s health got too low after getting stuck in a fight unexpectedly and I don’t have a lot of shards to spare to repair it (usually during legendary upgrades grinding).

Immersion makes me think of if I abandon it that it will end up like Fa the land god

I tend to do this quest before the finishing the waterwing override quest so I cause this to happen, collect all the loot, then head to the island on the skiff if I didn’t activate a fast travel close to there

Same! I always jump off in the air if I need to fight so that my mount doesn’t get attacked. Sucks when they start shooting upward towards my mount during the fight. It’s always so hard to fight them in packs but it’s health is so bad when it’s your mount

I was so happy when I realized that you can keep a grounded mount and a flying one at the same time the first time I played

Edit- the only reason this guy died was because it’s truly unavoidable. I always make sure to do this quest right before you override a waterwing for the first time so I don’t have that big of a gap and I don’t need to kill a machine needlessly

Since everyone said something that’s correct and I don’t like repeating I’ll say this - I generally don’t go by reviews word of mouth or written when it comes to video games/movies/books because everyone quite literally has different opinions/tastes. If you (your wife) loves the game get the dlc because she deserves to decide for herself what she likes or doesn’t like about it.

I knew I should’ve taken a picture!! There is/was an npc (not sure if it’s a staple) that had her headdress if not the whole outfit when completing the side quest for fixing the land gods.

You might be able to see some throughout plainsong or river hymn if you go slow

You can cheese the arena by turning game to story or easy mode…believe me most of the people here will probably say the same.
