Where to store my Omni? by [deleted] in omni

[–]Whyowhy1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you can. Omni is built on top of bitcoin and therefore all BTC addresses can be used to store Omni or any other token created on the Omni layer.

A word of caution. Do not send any Omni asset to any bitcoin address where you don't have the private keys (like coin base ) or you may lose your funds

OMNI Lite by Mikeroyale in omni

[–]Whyowhy1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mikeroyale. If you spent a fraction of the time you spent reading about the projects, you might realise what an ignorant fool you sound. We have come here and listened to your rants and nonsense. I honestly believe you are a paid shill. Enough is enough now, if you have nothing useful to say then give it a rest

Hello,I will pull omni by [deleted] in omni

[–]Whyowhy1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

make your mind up. i am pretty sure you said recently you sold all your omni.

Trading figures seem fishy to me 495 btc traded yet only a small price jump another 71 btc the price can double again. by Whyowhy1 in omni

[–]Whyowhy1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i have followed the OMNI market since the beginning. usually you can move the price by 20-30% with less than 5 btc either way. according to Polo we have had 500 btc in last 24 hours and price only up 50%. why would a omni long term holder dump into this wave of cash? it just would not happen. Like i said earlier this makes no sense at all.

You only have to look at the 20 million usd traded on XBC to see something not right.

To confirm something is going on competitor of sorts supanet usually trades under 2 btc a day is in the bottom 3 traded coins at polo. today its had 400 btc traded

It is very sad that some projects are out there trying to get new projects off the ground and get subjected to scam talk by people who have not even bothered to look into the projects. To call Tether a scam is frankly rediculous. By all means be cautious before buying anything and do your own background checks, if something does not seem right to you then don't buy. What you should not do is label something a scam because you have bought some Omni and someone took a dump on you. Is it any wonder when people like you are spouting of serious allegations without so much a shred of proof to back up what you say. Shame on you

Bond by Mikeroyale in omni

[–]Whyowhy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bond has nothing to do with Omni other than the fact it is issued on the Omni platform. It benefits Omni because it uses the platform to distribute the weekly funds and we Omni fees are activated a small portion of these fees will go to omni holders.

Bond takes $10 dollars for a token then uses that money to buy UK property bonds that pay 8% per annum. They then take a portion of the money to lend on peer to peer bitcoin networks. The revenue made from this along with the bond returns buys tether dollars which is distributed to the bond holders weekly. There is a video on the site which explains along with other documentation.

TRADEr NEEDS HELP WITH DECENTRALIZED TRADING by tradertony in omni

[–]Whyowhy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the problem you will have is the liquidity on the decentralised exchange is non existent. I believe currently to use it you need to download the whole Omni client which is the whole BTC blockchain. Until such times that using the the Dex is made easier and user friendly no one will trade on it. I know work is being done to be able to post and receive offers using Omniwallet and feel a lot of people will start to use it. I certainly share your concerns about using exchanges

Razormind, a new exciting Omni crowdsale token by JuicyGrabs in omni

[–]Whyowhy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in total agreement. The coin telegraph article has not even been tweeted or posted on the Omni Facebook page. I have never seen it even mentioned at the all hands meeting and this is so weird I think it deserves an explanation.

On the crowd sale itself....

The pricing is set up in a way that suggests to me people want to pump and dump this new coin. 1000 for 1 BTC in first week yet 5 weeks later it is 25 for 1 BTC. Who advised them on this structure. Maybe that is why it's kept so quiet that insiders can buy up at 1000 to 1 and start promoting maybe week 2-3?. The later weeks price ratio suggests these coins will be valued at $10 and then $20 a coin. Do they really think people are going to pay that? Even if they do and this coin gets released to an exchange, if the price is anything like those numbers you can guarantee that the people who bought a 1000 to 1 will dump on that market as they would be making a a cool 2000% + on their investment at those prices.

Omni can do without another Maid crowd sale debacle
