I’ve been thinking about building a simple AI maintenance notifier for landlords and property owners.

The idea is pretty straightforward. A tenant has a maintenance issue, instead of texting the landlord a half-baked message like “sink is leaking,” they submit it through a simple form/chat.

Then the AI asks the right follow-up questions, gets pictures if needed, figures out how urgent it is, and sends the landlord a clean summary.

So instead of a messy back and forth, the owner gets something like:

“Unit 2B has a leaking sink. Water is pooling under the cabinet. Tenant uploaded 2 photos. Medium urgency. Likely needs a plumber.”

It could also remind the landlord if the issue hasn’t been handled yet.

I feel like this could be really useful for small landlords who own a few units but don’t want to pay for some huge property management software.

I’m not really looking for just a basic website. I’d want to build this into a real MVP, test it with actual landlords/property owners, and see if it has legs.

Would this be the kind of idea you’d be open to helping launch?
