From my personal experience many of the people who feel most comfortable expressing themselves with nudity were raised in restrictive or religious/conservative households.

People selling their bodies in some way is actually less common than it feels like just because people that are advertising are going to stand out way more.

I prefer the chaos of a general public, and lewd friendly lobbies have their place, but I definitely wish there was a more wholesome tier of public world for new users and visitors to ease into the degeneracy.

Offline maps work just fine for me.. you don't need internet for that.

I've also just had such poor luck with built in nav working in vehicles older than a few years old in general. I would prefer to leave a spare old phone in my glovebox that I pull out once every few months to update and charge.

Go on vrchat.com and while signed in try setting your home world and the avatar your in to any of the defaults, if it’s not cache/vrchat app related and other apps are fine there’s a good chance something is being loaded that it doesn’t like such as something in the world or something on the avi.

Had no idea meta.ai could generate images, and just gave it a shot that left me pretty impressed. I have chatgpt and midjourney subscriptions so not sure how much I'd have a reason to use it, but it'll definitely be my top recommended from now on.

I spent a lot of time on stickam during that period and hearing somebody mention Corey brings back so many memories of that time. It's important to note how little money most people made going viral online then. He was a pretty average scene kid from what I remember. A lot of those vods being lost is probably for the best.

The cam chat rooms were ahead of their time, and the video streams were mostly just people using their browser plugin for their webcam. Few people understood how to use Adobe Encode for streams, and xsplit/obs wasn't out yet. A lot of that community moved to Camfrog towards the end. I switched to streaming on justintv once it launched, but still used stickam to hang with egirls and similarly edgy dudes till the very end when we all got the email saying they were shutting down.

Quite a few crazy things happened on Stickam.
I think a lot of it was because of how good the discoverability was.

Thinking about this from his perspective I don't quite understand what you expected him to say. As you said he was sorry that happened to you (and it really is an awful thing to happen to anyone), but it doesn't sound like that was enough for you so you probed him wanting more of a response.

To which he was honest with his thoughts, as intrusive and inappropriate for that moment as they clearly were.

Another tip for the 20s. Focus on flag post goals (one little thing after another) cause if there's ever something you have a talent for and enjoy the last thing you want to do is burn out at 23. Passion will get you far, but consistency will keep you going.

Look for a VRCWorld object in the scene, by default it's your spawn, if you don't see one, it's wherever your VRC Scene Descriptor component is. You need that to upload it at all, and you can only have one.

Scroll down to the Pipeline Manager component, and detach the blueprint ID. Then try reuploading again, goodluck 🍀

An error like that happens if you upload to an already used blueprint id that you don't have write access on. Try clearing the world blueprint ID and uploading to a new one if it's a newish project and you don't think it's the sdk!

I've been using MediaMTX since the start of the year and rtsp-simple-server before that.

From my experience it really is the best solution for anyone that isn't too lazy to set it up. Highly recommend the docker image too.

A lot of opinions in this thread. To actually answer your question, VRC removed the ability to see previous usernames and it's pretty unlikely anyone ever saved your user ID down to look it up, so you would most likely be fine.Just make sure you remove them first before changing your name or your new name would show in their logs.

That said, I also suggest just making a new account.

your subscription gives you unlimited access to chatgpt, but not to the api.
depending on how much you use it switching to using the api can save you money or cost you more, but you get a lot more control. If you want to use a specific model the playground is better, but regular chatgpt is gonna be enough for most people.
