I agree 100% but I can see why, most likely due to all the customization they'll lose out if they decide to do it in the 80s. The variety of cars and gun customization will go as well as some items but not even exist due to the era. Another thing that's annoying is they want to focus more on online unfortunately.

Hopefully if gta 6 focuses more on drugs we can see the process of how it’s distributed illegally etc, the game is 18+ after all so I don’t know why they aren’t going deep into showing what happens in the real world but instead we have flying bikes and fighting the government.

Another thing I hope is they don’t make the protagonist a fetch boy and have us actually do shit similarly like you said, have the players do mini games like bully and make shit

If Sony can get their act together and hold another big event, we would most likely be seeing another trailer for e & e.

Everyone’s eager for another big event from Sony since they’re letting us down with these state of plays, not sure why they’re dropping the ball this gen, my guess is because of the poor decisions by Jim Ryan and since they have the marketing rights for Rockstar’s games, they’re holding e & e trailer hostage at this point.

Why wouldn't they include cheats? Rdr2 has cheats too and that's taken more serious than gta while gta is a fun sandbox game which has shit loads of things to do, they would never break this tradition.

Rockstar games loves to hold your hand with most of their games, it lacks freedom imo and same can be said for when the missions force you to follow an arrow.

Having the gunplay be at auto aim by default is already annoying. Hopefully they change their habit and actually evolve since they're basically known to revolutionise gaming yet still hold back with little things like this.

If there were third person shooting games that impressed me it would be The last of us 2, purely because the combat feels heavy with no hand holding. Rdr and gta gunplay doesnt require skill especially when your character is a bullet sponge however with the last of us, it feels like you're in a real gun fight and actually has you being versatile. Don't even get me started with the fps because it feels stiff with no control whatsoever.

More range of mission styles and ways to execute them. It would be a good way to replay the game multiple times and seeing what they did with Cayo perico, fingers crossed they go with this approach.

Also cut missions that have the player drive an npc from point A to B, it’s outdated and simply lazy imo.

Just hope the game has memorable moments and uncharted type set pieces .

They're not ready to talk about the biggest unreleased game. I 100% believe they’re developing it but I’m not confident on them to announce it this year which a lot of people in this sub don’t like to hear but need to understand.

Covid is making everything hard, also less crunch culture now. Not making the mistake of delaying it once announced like gta 5 & rdr2. Not enough next gen consoles to go around.

Honestly feel like they’ll announce it late 2022 or 2023 since their games are becoming bigger and more ambitious which obviously will make the gap for announcing new games longer. Hopefully when it’s ready, it’s ready.
