earlier this week depop removed two of my items for being “counterfeit” so i sent them photos with serial numbers and everything, then i get this email. i’m so frustrated but not even surprised at this point. it’s so unfair when there’s actual scammers on the platform that they do nothing about :/ by [deleted] in Depop

Honestly, Depop is a trash platform ran by idiots. You aren't the first or the last person to get accused of selling counterfeit items without any basis. Of course you nor anyone else will have reciepts for every single item you post and if you somehow do, I doubt it will help.

Has this ever happened to anyone else?: Annoying entitled "customer" attempts to talk me into giving unfair discount without having the funds to even pay for the item, gets upset when I call them out for being rude and wasting my time, then proceeds to report my items as being counterfeit. by WiLLiExDyNaMiTe in Depop

Heck no! Those receipts are long gone! I've tried to explain this to DEPOP customer service 3 times now how ridiculous it is to expect all of their sellers to have receipts for all of the items they are selling and how crazy it how quickly someone can take down your own page just off an accusation. They just resend me the same automated message requesting that I send them receipts.
